Melissa Baker
Melissa Baker is an Operations, Program and Project Manager, Instructional Designer and Business Analyst professional with twenty years of progressive experience. In her current role as Adoption and Training Practice Manager, Melissa is responsible for leading large projects to ensure alignment between business and technology needs. Additionally, Melissa consults with organizations undergoing significant changes to ensure end-user adoption with new workflow and technology transformation.
Melissa has extensive experience leading complex projects within a variety of industries – including healthcare, insurance and higher education. Her experience includes program leadership and vendor management in the selection, design, integration and implementation of cutting-edge technology investments within existing and new environments. Melissa has worked with a number of technology and medical device vendors and has established a deep understanding of the methodologies required to ensure successful implementation. Furthermore, Melissa has led large initiatives focused on process and workflow change management coupled with end user adoption training.
In her tenure at Burwood, Melissa has directly managed practice resources, created and implemented new tools, workflow and templates to increase productivity, trained and mentored new employees, analyzed team trends, resourcing needs and financial metrics, and has become well acclimated with technology services across UC, networking, datacenter, wireless, ITIL and security platforms.
