Eileen Paliakas

Eileen Paliakas is Vice President of Finance at Burwood Group, leading the Accounting team that ensures the financial statements are accurate and complete and that the company is planning for future success. Eileen brings over thirty years of accounting and financial analysis experience from the logistics and transportation industries and is applying those problem-solving skills to her new home in technology. After starting as Controller, she was promoted to Vice President at the same time she was named one of Burwood’s ESOP Trustees in July 2022.

Eileen is a Chicago area native and spends her time outside of work and family volunteering with Just Roots Chicago, a non-profit urban agriculture organization, as well as career mentoring college students through The Legacy Guild in La Grange.

Eileen has over thirty years experience in the accounting and financial planning & administration areas of large public companies. Additionally, she has experience in financial system upgrades, onboarding acquired companies, and leading other analytical teams.
